The Bridgestone R-Trailer 002 Evo is a regional trailer tyre that has been designed to meet the requirements of distribution work involving a combination of motorway distance driving, junction braking, and depot manoeuvring. The multi-ribbed tread has continuous ribs around the tyre to ensure a steady rolling surface is maintained, even under the heaviest trailer loads. Longitudinal grooves create water discharge channels to assist with the removal of water from the tread during wet driving conditions. Reinforced belt layers within the tread assist with the inner casing's protection during kerb strikes and the heat that is generated during repetitive regional journeys.
The design of the Bridgestone R-Trailer 002 Evo focuses on trailer axles that will experience sustained driving along the main road and frequent, low-speed turning along the same route. The design and construction of the tyre assist with high trailer loads and high regional mileage. The rib layout is designed to manage the pressure as the tread wears.
