Rolling resistance has a direct impact on fuel consumption. A tyre's rolling resistance score ranges from A to E.
A tyre's wet grip capacity is expressed in Grades from A to E. The difference in braking distances between each grade is roughly 3m - an average car length.
The exterior noise grade of a tyre is expressed in decibels and accompanied by an external rolling noise rating - ranging from A (least exterior noise) to C (highest level of noise).
These tyres have been specifically designed for fitment and use on cars.
The Bridgestone Potenza S001 is a max-performance summer tyre aimed for quick steering response on the motorway and A-roads. It uses larger angled blocks on the outer tread to retain shape for load while cornering. The inner tread uses Bridgestone’s NanoPro-Tech compound which helps reduce build up heat. There is a continuous centre rib which supports braking and enhances the response of the steering.
Some models are marked with the BMW star mark and Mercedes MOE marking on the sidewall. This shows they were made for those specific manufacturers and complying with either marking keeps the original tyre specification for the vehicle. The run-flat models have sidewalls reinforced to support the vehicles after the tyres have lost all air pressure.

The price shown for mail-order tyres covers the tyre only (including VAT). Once you’ve selected your tyres and proceed to the basket, a delivery fee will be added to your order. Please be aware that certain areas of the country may incur additional delivery charges and, in some cases, slightly longer delivery times.
