The Bridgestone Potenza S001 is a max-performance summer tyre aimed for quick steering response on the motorway and A-roads. It uses larger angled blocks on the outer tread to retain shape for load while cornering. The inner tread uses Bridgestone’s NanoPro-Tech compound which helps reduce build up heat. There is a continuous centre rib which supports braking and enhances the response of the steering.

Some models are marked with the BMW star mark and Mercedes MOE marking on the sidewall. This shows they were made for those specific manufacturers and complying with either marking keeps the original tyre specification for the vehicle. The run-flat models have sidewalls reinforced to support the vehicles after the tyres have lost all air pressure. Tyres.co.uk stock the Bridgestone Potenza S001 including run-flat models.

Ever since I got the new tyres, I have noticed how great they are in wet conditions and even better in dry. The braking, turning and steering all feel great. The noise levels are also good. They feel great and last about 30,000 miles while providing great fuel economy.
