Bridgestone Ecopia EP001S summer tyres were engineered for the BMW i3. Creating the BMW i3 meant designing an electric car around sustainability, so Bridgestone developed the Ecopia EP001S summer tyres around BMW’s need for optimally efficient travel on a single charge. Bridgestone’s ologic technology reduces both rolling resistance and aerodynamic drag with a high, narrow tapered tyre, meaning this technology pairs a large tyre with a small width. Tyres made with Bridgestone’s ologic technology often come standard with 19-inch wheels, such as the electric BMW i3.

The BMW i3’s front tyres and rear tyres also come in different widths, and the Ecopia EP001S size code will identify which axle position the tyre should be mounted on. Some tyres also have the sidewall marking “BMW i3,” meaning they were made standard for that original equipment. If the tyre being replaced has that marking, it is recommended to replace it with the same. Tyres.co.uk sells the Bridgestone Ecopia EP001S.

These tyres have done really well across multiple different environments, and the way they give feedback on the road is as good as it gets. I've felt a noticeable change in how i can handle the car, especially when it comes to quicker, sharper turns. The car also feels stable when going dangerously fast. I am quite happy with this choice and believe they will have good longevity.

I purchased these to swap out my old worn tyres and the difference is night and day. They have excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions. I drove through heavy rain and felt totally safe. These tyres are a joy to drive; the road noise is low and the handling is very responsive.

A big improvement on my previous set. These tyres feel more stable and grip better when turning. I have had no problems with slipping in wet conditions. So far, performance has been great considering the price, they are good value.

I have used these Bridgestone tyres for several months, and my expectations have been exceeded. During heavy rain, the tyres hold grip and I did not skid even once. I drove a long distance recently on the motorway and to my surprise, these tyres were still quiet and extremely comfortable. I have had difficulties in light snow, but aside from that, they perform well. I recommend these tyres.
