  • Tick Icon Car
    Car tyre:

Designed for cars, rather than vans, 4x4s or commercial vehicles.

  • Tick Icon Reinforced (XL)
    Extra Load or Reinforced tyres:

A stronger sidewall lets this tyre carry more weight than a standard tyre of the same size. Marked XL on the sidewall.

  • Tick Icon Winter
    Winter tyres:

Designed for temperatures below 7°C. Summer tyre rubber hardens in the cold and loses grip, while a winter compound stays soft and holds the road in cold, wet and snowy conditions.

Product description & features

Another product of Bridgestone is the Blizzak LM30 tyre which is a winter tyre for passenger cars. The Blizzak keeps the winter tread rubber pliable due to the usage of cold weather tread rubber compound and directional tread pattern in the wet, slushy and snow covered roads. The LM30 has slush, ice and water drainage channels that start at the centre of the tread and spread to the tread edge. The rubber compound is highly abrasion resistant and it does not harden as much as other materials due to low temperature and it keeps the tread flexible without freezing.

The fine tread pattern slits in the Blizzak LM30 help create snow and ice biting edges and directional water drainage in thawing and rain conditions. The Bridgestone Blizzak LM30 tyre is especially useful to replace the existing matching set since it has been replaced by LM32. The Bridgestone Blizzak LM30 tyre is available in Tyres.co.uk.

Tyre review for Bridgestone Blizzak LM30 215/55R16 97H XL
The tyres are certainly not the cheapest, however, they are fantastic tyres! My mum drives confidently now that we have put the tyres on her car for winter. We would not recommend any other tyres for winter.
