The Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 DriveGuard is a premium winter tyre built for everyday cars that need dependable performance in cold, wet and occasional snowy conditions, with the added reassurance of run-flat mobility. It’s designed to keep braking and steering response consistent as temperatures drop, making it a strong choice for UK winter commuting and longer motorway trips.

Its directional tread pattern uses wide grooves to clear slush and standing water efficiently, helping reduce the risk of aquaplaning. Dense, interlocking sipes across the blocks create extra biting edges for traction on snow and frosty roads, while also supporting the tread blocks under load to improve stability in corners. A high-silica winter compound helps these tyres stay flexible in low temperatures for more reliable wet grip and shorter stopping distances.

DriveGuard technology adds reinforced sidewalls that can temporarily support the vehicle after a puncture, typically allowing you to continue for up to 50 miles at up to 50 mph (subject to vehicle guidance and TPMS). Ride comfort can feel slightly firmer than a standard winter tyre, but the structure is tuned to remain stable and predictable.
