Product description & features

The Bridgestone Alenza 001 is a summer tyre developed for road-focused SUVs. With an asymmetric tread and an SUV-focused outer pattern, the focus of the Alenza 001 is wet handling and braking. High-angle sipes across the tread blocks allow edges to be present and grip wet surfaces. The outer tread blocks are designed to be noise reducing. With the use of the Nano Pro-tech compound, Bridgestone states that the Alenza 001 reduces rolling resistance and has improved wet surface grip due to the even dispersion of silica within the tyre.

The BMW star mark and Audi’s AO mark indicate that these specific versions are made to the specifications of BMW and Audi, respectively, so a replacement tyre must have the same markings. Bridgestone also offers these tyres in a runflat design, which allows the tyre to be driven on for a limited distance after the tyre has lost air and provides a reinforced sidewall. Tyres.co.uk offers an extensive selection of run flat and non-run flat Bridgestone Alenza 001 tyres.

Highlights

  • Asymmetric tread for wet handling
  • High-angle sipes for wet grip
  • Noise-reducing outer tread blocks
