The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 is a tough all-terrain 4x4 tyre designed to preserve sidewall integrity on rugged terrain while offering good traction on loose terrain. When considering construction and design, it is clear that the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 focuses on sidewall integrity. CoreGard Technology utilises the sidewall rubber from the BFGoodrich Baja T/A KR2 race tyre. The outer sidewall has been made thicker in order to resist rock and rut bruising and splitting. The outside serrated blocks actively engage in the soft terrain, and the stone ejector system between the tread blocks assist in the removal of stones that become trapped.
BFGoodrich claims that KO2’s sidewall rubber is 20% tougher than KO’s. The model that KO2 has replaced. The tread features a series of slits that, when under load, support the blocks by locking the tread together. The 3PMSF mark on the tread indicates the tyre’s compliance with the snow traction aid standard, and severe snow traction performance has been achieved.
