The Avon ZX7 is a summer tyre designed specifically for SUVs that prioritise ultimate performance. ZX7 promotes impressive braking performance and steering response on wet surfaces. Its tread design features an asymmetric pattern and four longitudinal grooves that incorporate angled channels to rapidly evacuate rainwater. Avon has also used a high-silica tread design to support grip in wet conditions. There are block patterns on the outer edge to support the tyre during lateral loads.

The ZX7 is an improved version of the Avon ZX5 and features an on-road SUV tread pattern with a greater number of drainage channels.
