The Arrowspeed CP661 is a summer tyre containing a tread design meant to maximise wet weather performance for passenger vehicles. The CP661's tread design consists of drainage grooves that run from the front to the back of the tyre, with slits cut across the blocks. The tread design is non-directional, which means that the tyre can be installed on either side of a vehicle. Water is channeled through the tyre, and slits cut across the blocks add more contact edges when breaking.
