Rolling resistance has a direct impact on fuel consumption. A tyre's rolling resistance score ranges from A to E.
A tyre's wet grip capacity is expressed in Grades from A to E. The difference in braking distances between each grade is roughly 3m - an average car length.
The exterior noise grade of a tyre is expressed in decibels and accompanied by an external rolling noise rating - ranging from A (least exterior noise) to C (highest level of noise).

The Zeetex CT6000E is an eco-friendlier option for a summer tyre for passenger vehicles on a budget. Zeetex has designed this tyre with a rubber compound that will not consume as much energy due to the lower rolling resistance. The pattern design dissipates water quicker and has incisions to create more edge to grip the rubber to the road in slightly damp conditions. The design is also intended to wear more evenly for the entire life of the tyre.
Zeetex claims that their CT6000E lowers fuel consumption and CO2 emissions due to their patented lower rolling resistance design. The CT6000E is designed for summer conditions and temperatures greater than 7 degrees Celcius. Zeetex CT6000E tyres are available at Tyres.co.uk.
