History

The Zeetex Tyres brand started life in 2005, developing tyres which follow the blueprint of premium tyre manufacturers like Michelin and Bridgestone – but with their own unique design traits.

Zeetex Tyres is owned by the Zafco Company, which is itself a leading manufacturer and distributor of tyres and other industrial products. The Zafco Group was launched in 1993 and expanded to an international market in 1999 – selling tyres from a range of brands including Zeetex and Armstrong. In the years since its conception, Zafco has built its position in the tyre industry, by launching Zeetex and acquiring other tyre brands – notably buying the Armstrong brand from Pirelli before adding the Accelera brand to its portfolio.

Zafco’s ownership plays an integral part in Zeetex’s success, funnelling research and development into the brand and elevating Zeetex’s reputation as a diverse and versatile, yet affordable and safe brand of tyre for drivers all over the world.
