The Yokohama Geolandar X-CV G057 is an SUV and crossover premium all season tyre designed especially for wet roads and tread life. It uses a special high-silica rubber compound that grips and is less prone to wear. It has an asymmetric tread with 4 grooves that run around the tyre and remove water from the centre. There are cornering support blocks along the outer edge and there are 3D sipes that are used to create fully interlocked sipes to provide added edges for wet and light snow roads.
The tread has a 5 pitch tread sequence to help mitigate road noise. This is done by varying the block pattern and pitch throughout the tread. M+S marking indicates its all season construction, and reinforced construction is available for vehicles with higher requirements.
