Yokohama BluEarth-GT AE51B is an asymmetric all-season tarmac tyre with a focus on grand touring with high speed wet grip and less cabin noise on the motorway. There’s an inner section dedicated to water evacuation, while the outer section has true road contact. The tread has 4 longitudinal grooves which help to remove water from the contact patch. Silica is combined with a polymer in the Nano Blend Compound 2.0 to enhance grip in the wet and lower the rolling resistance and heat build up.

Yokohama’s outer Powerful Blocks, are resistant to deformation when loaded in a turn. They vary the sound frequency when a block comes into contact with the pavement with a 5 pitch array design.
