The Yokohama BluEarth E70B is a tyre for summer use. BluEarth E70B has a tread pattern with wet braking in mind and is designed for mixed use with a focus on better rolling resistance. The E70B has longitudinal grooves with a lower tread section designed to clear water from the contact patch. Additionally, the design of the tread has fine slits that provide added surface area for braking on wet roads, and the design helps to evenly distribute pressure across the tread for even wear.

The E70B is factory fitted to select passenger vehicles, so it is important to have the exact size and specification for replacement. The E70B is designed with low rolling resistance in mind; as it is designed to support the focus of the BluEarth range, the E70B is designed to be highly energy efficient. I have had two Mitsubishis consecutively and both came with Yokohama BluEarth tyres which have always worked out for me. The previous set lasted more than 45,000 miles and I still had life left in them when I changed them.
