Tyre review for Yokohama Advan Sport A349A 215/60R17 96H
Last week I fitted new Yokohama Advan Sport A349A tyres on my van after my previous ones wore out. As for ride comfort, it is acceptable but not as cushy, and you can feel the road well enough. Grip left much to be desired and so did the handling, however, it is better than the previous tyres. Most premium brands are more likely to blow you away. I usually carry a lot of weight, and I hope these tyres will cope with it well, but the stiffer sidewalls mean they feel harsher over bumps. In my experience with them, wet road performance is average considering how nervous I feel after some slippage when I take sharp turns. I appreciate the tread pattern and they look nice, but I feel like they could do with a little improvement in most areas. For my next set of tyres, I may look for other options for well, as I will have to see how they wear and considering longevity. For now, they do the job, but I may look to other options for my next set of tyres.
