The Yokohama Advan Fleva V701 is an asymmetric tyre that features Yokohama’s Lightning Groove technology. This features angled grooves that carry water from the middle of the tread surface to the edge in order to improve wet grip. Yokohama’s Advanced Nano Blend Compound features silica to improve grip on hot damp tarmac. The shoulder blocks form a stiff shoulder in order to resist flex when steering.

The 5-pitch sequence helps to reduce tread pattern noise. Reinforced XL construction, which increases the load capacity of the tyre, is offered in some sizes. You can find the Yokohama Advan Fleva V701, in both standard and reinforced XL constructions, at Tyres.co.uk.

The tyres seem to be in excellent condition. Compared to the original Continentals, they're a lot quieter, which is what I wanted. I haven't seen any issues with grip or premature wear.

The tyres have good grip in both wet and dry conditions. I haven't noticed any difference in my fuel economy. I do find there is a little more road noise than the Avons I had previously though.

I don't worry to much about how long the tyres last & how well they drive. If you drive aggressively with hard cornering, you will go through tyres quickly. But if you're more of a relaxed driver on the motorway, then it will be an easier journey.

I fitted these on my Fiat 500 a few weeks ago and they've been providing great grip rain or shine. They are a little more noisy than my old Continentals but not by much. I would definitely recommend these tyres!
