Designed for cars, rather than vans, 4x4s or commercial vehicles.
Designed for temperatures below 7°C. Summer tyre rubber hardens in the cold and loses grip, while a winter compound stays soft and holds the road in cold, wet and snowy conditions.
The Uniroyal Snow Max 3 is designed to help move snow, slush, and water through the tread for cold weather commercial tasks. As a directional tyre, its V-shape draws slush away from the road surface, and the tyre tread maintains contact with the surface as it changes. Wide openings channel water through the tread on wet roads. In addition, fine slits in the tread provide additional edges to pull away and braking on packed snow. The strong casing of the tyre supports the weight of a loaded van and the regular stop and go use.
The V-shape also helps snow packed in the tread maintain a clear snow free path for improved braking and steering on delivery routes and even at speed on the motorway. The tyre is protected from the commercial knocks of loading and kerb impacts. The Uniroyal Snow Max 3 is available through us at Tyres.co.uk.
