This tyre features a directional tread design incorporating deep tread grooves to transport water. Additionally, the outer areas of the tread, along with fine slits cut into the tread, provide further edges to assist braking and cornering in the wet.

The design of the tread assists in the even distribution of the tread over the road surface, assisting even tread wear over long distances. The construction of the tyre aids in maintaining stability of the vehicle during both acceleration and braking, while the tread pattern aids in providing a dry road surface and predictable steering.
