The Uniroyal RainSport 3 is a summer performance tyre constructed for clearing standing water. With a directional tread, it guides water through back to front grooves. The channels of the tread also use Shark Skin Technology, a surface texture inspired by the skin of a shark, designed to reduce turbulence to aid in the effective movement of water through the tread. Uniroyal’s Grip Compound is used for enhanced grip on both wet and dry tarmac, leading to shorter braking distances. The flexible Shoulder Blocks help the tread retain the blocking grip to respond to the cornering force and aid steering.

The RainSport 3 is available in some sizes with reinforced XL construction for higher load capacity vehicles. This model has since been succeeded by the RainSport 5 in Uniroyal’s summer collection, although the RainSport 3 is still offered for those replacing the same tyre. I've had these tyres for about a year and have travelled approximately 15,000 miles with most of it being on country roads and B roads. Surprisingly, there's still a lot of tread left on them. They started with 7-8mm of tread and are now at 5.5mm on the back and 4.5mm on the front, which indicates their longevity. They are likely to last another 6 months and I look forward to seeing how the updated model performs. They provide great traction under dry conditions and the performance in the rain is a definite step up from the budget tyres that were previously on the car.

My car's handling has improved so much since getting these Uniroyal TH40 tyres. In particular, the grip feels better when it is wet. I did a long drive last weekend and the comfort was amazing on it. I even think the fuel consumption is better, and the quiet ride is a bonus. So far I'm happy, and winter is around the corner which will be a good test. I will definitely be recommending these to my mates if the performance keeps up.

These Uniroyal TH40 tyres have changed my entire driving experience. I never thought I would notice this much of a difference before. The traction during wet weather is remarkable. I've driven almost 5,000 miles and these tyres have performed excellently during every single one of those miles.

To be honest, I couldn't believe how well the Uniroyal TH40 tyres performed. They handled the motorway with ease and made me more confident to push my speed higher. I ran into terrible weather while driving with these and they were amazing. I can take corners much better with these, and they're quieter and more comfortable than my old set of tyres. Bonus - my fuel efficiency has improved. I still have a lot of tread after 8,000 miles, so I have high hopes for how long these will last.

Great grip - it honestly feels like the car is stuck to the road. Also better steering and braking. The downside is they're a bit noisy - but I don't care on my old clunky car I already have these tyres since it is noisy anyway! I will absolutely get them again for the old car, but I might look for a quieter one for a newer car.

I've done some driving in the snow and the rain and these new tyres have excellent handling in both. I bought them after reading a review that said this. The road noise is pretty average and dry conditions also give great performance as well as good handling.

These tyres are fantastic. I feel confident in their grip and responsiveness in all conditions, especially in the wet. The dry feedback could be marginally better, but I'm talking about really extreme performance driving. For everyday driving, they are more than adequate. The tyre wear on my current car has been more than reasonable, with the rear RWD (600nm torque) tyres lasting 12-14k miles and the front tyres lasting 25k miles before they needed to be changed. I will keep fitting these tyres to my daily car as they inspire confidence. I also fitted them to my wife's Mini and they were a huge improvement over the Pirelli P Zeros. These will not be the best choice if you are looking for high performance tyres for track days but for reliable all conditions driving, year round for performance, these are the best tyres I have found.

These tyres may work fine for a family car since they handle fine when it's wet out, but they are not good for an MX-5. These tyres are also less responsive and offer less grip than the Yokohama tyres I had before. I'll keep these tyres for winter, but I'll switch back to Yokohama for summer.

My main reason for selecting this brand was because of their excellent handling in wet conditions. I have had no issues with handling in dry conditions either, so they are a good option for all conditions. The only downside is that they are slightly louder than the Toyos I had previously.

These tyres grip the road well, especially in the rain and on muddy trails. Previous tyres would slide or cause my car's slick surface traction control to activate. They handle snow predictably; however, I wouldn't want to do a long trip. In terms of road noise, they are quiet and in dry conditions they do very well.

Excellent performance so far in the wet, there is slight shift on the blocks when dry, but grip is still trustable. Wear is not as bad as I expected, I heard they are softer and might wear out quicker than Continentals, but I haven't seen any difference so far.
