Product description & features

Uniroyal’s RainExpert 3 consists of summer tyres suitable for personal cars with water drainage being the main consideration. The company works together with Shark Skin Technology in terms of the design and production of treads and grooves that are helpful in draining water. For the drainage of rainwater, the RainExpert 3 has deep round channels that help in collecting water, as well as angled grooves that will drain water from the tyre to its outer edge. Moreover, the tread blocks have slits for providing improved braking and cornering on wet road surfaces. The tread blocks of the tyre are designed to keep stability while braking.

This model being the third generation of the RainExpert Continuous series, the RainExpert 3 summer tyre line now provides 3rd generation Continuous series summer passenger car tyres. Some sizes of the series are also produced with XL construction that gives extra load reinforcement for cars needing high carrying ability. Tyres.co.uk provides the Uniroyal RainExpert 3, including the reinforced XL tyres.

Highlights

  • Deep circular water channels
  • Angled water-draining grooves
  • Tread block slits for wet grip

I have never had such great grip in the wet. I usually buy the highest rated, premium wet grip tyres, but these outdo everything I have had for stability and stopping power in the rain.

Great. It alters how the car performs in bad weather in comparison to the tyres it was delivered with.

Tyre review for Uniroyal RainExpert 3 165/65R13 77T
I've used Uniroyal tyres before and always fitted them to my own vehicles, plus I've recommended them to my customers instead of the cheap Chinese tyres that need to be replaced every year. In my experience, with 40 years in the motoring trade, it is more economical to spend a little more at the outset. Cheap Chinese tyres are in my opinion not worth it.
