The Uniroyal Rain Max 5 is a summer van tyre engineered for wet-road braking and aquaplaning resistance. The Rain Max 5 uses Aqua-Twist Sipes to direct water into the grooves of the tyre. The sipes create small slits in the tread, adding extra edges for grip in wet and slippery conditions, and the channels in the tread remove water from the tread's centre. The casing is designed for durability and resistant to impact from the kerb and changing loads, as well as modified tread design for evenly distributed pressure and consistent tread wear.
The Rain Max 5 is a replacement for the Rain Max 3 in the light-commercial range from Uniroyal. The Rain Max 5 combines the water-clearing tread design with a pattern designed to minimise road noise and vibrations in the cabin of the vehicle. Tyres.co.uk supplies the Uniroyal Rain Max 5.
