The Uniroyal FH40 is a summer passenger-car tyre designed to efficiently clear standing water with wide grooves and channels that guide rainwater away from the road. Slits in the tread blocks increase the number of edges that can grab on damp road surfaces. The outer blocks are formed to provide support to the tyre during cornering and lane changing at motorway speeds. The even distribution of wear is built into the layout.
