The design of the Trazano Z401 incorporates a flexible tread for winter conditions that can also help drain water and slush from the road. They utilise a temperature-sensitive winter rubber, allowing the tread to remain adaptable to the conditions. The directional tread pattern includes deep channels that run from front to back to evacuate water and slush. They need to be installed in the indicated directional marking for the pattern to be effective. The tread blocks are also supplemented with numerous micro-slits to provide additional edges for traction in snow and on uneven surfaces.
