Rotalla S130 summer road tyre removes water from the tread in warm weather and uses an asymmetric pattern to aid speed in transferring the water away from the tyre on everyday road and motorway journeys. There are front to back grooves connected by channels that transport the water from the central part of the pattern. There are blocks on the outer edge of the tyre that support the tyre in the turns and in the lane changes.
Micro slits on the surface of the tyre assist in providing edges that give support in braking and accelerating on slightly wet roads. The pattern has a central section that is unbroken which aids in providing a steady feel for the driver at high speeds. These components of the tread give a road tyre support for running and turning.
