The Rotalla RF19 is designed for summer driving conditions, particularly for A-roads and motorways. The RF19 is intended for driving in warm, wet and dry conditions. The tread design consists of wide, circumferential channels that aid in the removal of water in the footprint. The Rotalla RF19 has a fairly unique design for summer tyres. The Rotalla RF19 has a solid centreline. The tread design consists of stiff outer blocks as well as the continuous block design. Having stiff outer blocks supports the tyre through cornering.

While the RF19 maintains a consistent tread design, the arrangement of the RF19’s tread design allows the braking, acceleration and cornering forces imposed on the tyres to be distributed evenly. Optimised road contact allows for consistency in wear whilst the arrangement of the design serves to minimise road noise. The Rotalla RF19 is a summer tyre for the warmer conditions.
