A tyre's wet grip capacity is expressed in Grades from A to E. The difference in braking distances between each grade is roughly 3m - an average car length.
The exterior noise grade of a tyre is expressed in decibels and accompanied by an external rolling noise rating - ranging from A (least exterior noise) to C (highest level of noise).
These tyres have been specifically designed for fitment and use on cars.
designed to cope with various weather conditions and deliver a reliable performance throughout the different seasons.
The Powertrac PowerMarch A/S is an all-season passenger car tyre designed to remove water from wet roads and have extra tread edges to handle cold, wet, and slightly frozen conditions. There are four wide grooves that run around the tyre that have open channels at the outer edges to remove water. There are thin slits in the blocks that provide additional edges for grip in cold conditions. Stiffer blocks at the shoulders help with cornering and help change lanes on the motorway.
The design also helps with everyday road noise and provides a smoother ride, while the casing absorbs the road irregularities. The design also helps distribute the weight along the entire length of the block that is in contact with the road to help with tyre wear. This design helps provide a good all-around tyre for the varying conditions of the UK throughout the year. At Tyres.co.uk we stock the Powertrac PowerMarch A/S.
