The Pirelli P Zero is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM)-based ultra-high-performance summer tyre with a PZ4 asymmetric design to provide dry steering and clear water evacuation. Three circumferential grooves carry water away from the centre of the tread. The outer edge blocks are wide and stiff to provide cornering support, while inner section slits break up the block and reduce braking pressure concentration.

Pirelli also makes P Zero Tyres with the side marking of an N0 (noted as Porsche approved) or a BMW star as a statement Tyre’s compliance to these manufactures specifications. The Pirelli Noise Cancelling System tyre is a variation of the Pirelli P Zero and has sound absorbing material in the tyre’s cavity to reduce cabin noise. So far, the grip has been impressive and this new version of P0s appears to be more quiet.

These tyres slip when I accelerate, particularly in wet conditions, so I'm unsure why this type of tyre gets high grades. I did not expect this from a premium tyre. The cause may be that the compound is not soft enough or that the tyres are run-flats.
