The Nordexx NS9000 summer tyre for passenger cars employs an asymmetric tread design to work best for summer driving. Nordexx designed these tyres to work for cooling water on warm summer days in uneven driving conditions. The NS9000 uses wide grooves to remove surface water from the tyre section in contact with the pavement. Smaller blocks across the tread have slits that serve as edges to assist these blocks with water and provide some edge traction on damp tarmac during movement. The asymmetric design uses varying block shapes for support during cornering.
For normal driving conditions, the tread design keeps the rolling noise to a minimum during long distance driving on the motorways and day-to-day driving. The summer construction of the NS9000 makes it suitable for the warmer driving months in the UK when the temperatures are generally above 7 degrees Celsius. You can find the Nordexx NS9000 available for purchase on Tyres.co.uk.
