The Nankang SV-4 is a winter tyre designed for everyday cars that need added confidence when temperatures drop. Built for typical UK conditions, it’s well suited to cold, wet roads and occasional slushy or snowy stretches, helping you stay in control on commutes, school runs and longer motorway journeys.

A directional, V-shaped tread pattern helps clear water and slush efficiently, reducing the likelihood of standing-water aquaplaning. Deep central grooves and angled channels move water away from the contact patch, while the dense network of sipes creates extra biting edges that support traction and braking on cold surfaces without making the tyre feel vague.

Stable shoulder blocks help the tyre hold its line through bends and during lane changes, especially on damp B-roads. The casing is designed to keep the footprint more even as speeds rise, which can improve wear consistency and steering response over the season. In selected sizes, reinforced (XL) versions are available for heavier vehicles or extra load requirements.
