The Nankang SP-9 is an SUV and crossover tyre designed for summer use. The SP-9 uses a tread design with 4 grooves built to remove water and a rubber compound that provides grip. Nankang also uses a solid centre rib to enhance stability for driving straight. The blocks on the outer edge are designed for cornering. Nankang’s use of a variable pitch design reduces road contact noise. The SP-9 also uses a silica compound. The SP-9 Cross Sport name designates this SUV and crossover tyre pattern.
