The Nankang NA-1 is a summer passenger car tyre designed to enhance safety whilst driving on wet roads. It features four main circumferential grooves designed to evacuate water from the contact patch. During braking or cornering, the fine slits that cross the grooves come into contact with the damp road providing additional grip. The NA-1 is designed to provide high speed stability on the motorway.

The tyre design serves to reduce road noise. The tread blocks are spaced at different intervals and a specific pitch sequence. The NA-1 comes in higher load ratings for heavier passenger cars. The sidewall marking of the tyre will indicate the load rating for the intended vehicle. The Nankang NA-1 is available at Tyres.co.uk.

The front Bridgestones have been replaced since I consider them the worst van tyres there are. I would not expect anything better from them. If they continue to perform well, I will consider changing the rears too. Tyres have done well so far, but with only 600 miles, it is still early days. However, they have settled in well and have done great this cold wet weather.
