The Nankang CW-20 winter tyre is for light commercial vans and specialises in dealing with wet and frosty working routes. The design focuses on the removal of water and slush gripping the tread. The directional tread pattern features deep channels that divert water from the contact patch. The winter slit pattern creates additional edges for traction and braking on ice.

The CW-20 is designed with a strong commercial casing to carry higher loads and to accommodate the repetitive stop and start driving characteristic of delivery driving. The tread pattern is designed to wear evenly with the daily driving mileage. These tyres last a long time but are very loud. They grip the road well, but I haven't had the chance to test the tyres in the wet because we've had a long summer. Based on my research, this amount of noise (approximately 78db) seems to be fairly typical. From my experience, the manufacturer seems to fulfil their aim of leading the budget tyre segment.
