The Nankang CW-20 winter tyre is for light commercial vans and specialises in dealing with wet and frosty working routes. The design focuses on the removal of water and slush gripping the tread. The directional tread pattern features deep channels that divert water from the contact patch. The winter slit pattern creates additional edges for traction and braking on ice.

The CW-20 is designed with a strong commercial casing to carry higher loads and to accommodate the repetitive stop and start driving characteristic of delivery driving. The tread pattern is designed to wear evenly with the daily driving mileage. Bought these for the colder months and they do the job for the money. Grip in cold and wet is a clear step up on the all seasons I had before, and they were fine in the bit of snow we got. They are noisier than I expected once you get up to motorway speed though, and the steering feels a little vague. Fair value, nothing more than that.
