Product description & features

Designed considering the challenges posed by wet and cold weather, passengers can use the AW-8 all-Weather Tyre from Nankang across seasons. The tyre features a V-shaped and 3D zigzag sip design, and offers a 3PMSF (Three Peak Mountain Snow Flake) rating. The tyre groove design facilitates the movement of water and frost from the groove that is in direct contact with the road. The 3D cuts on the tread blocks create edges that grip during the rolling of the tyre, while the outer blocks have been designed to be cornering load resistant.

On the sidewalls of the Tyre, there is both the M+S and the 3PMSF markings. The M+S marking indicates the tyre is in the muddy and snowy category, while the 3PMSF marking indicates that the tyre has passed the snowy traction test. While the AW-8 is designed with a clear indication of the rolling direction of the tyre, the channel design indicates the front side of the tyre. You can find the Nankang AW-8 at Tyres.co.uk.

Tyre review for Nankang AW-8 235/65R16 121T
Their job is good, there is slightly less road noise. They have worn a bit now. They are fitted on a van which lacks the insulation and sound proofing that vehicles have, also the rear drum effect, so it is no issue. Being all season tyres, they are naturally a bit more noisy. They do well in both dry and wet conditions, and seem to grip and brake well. I am happy.

Tyre review for Nankang AW-8 235/65R16 121T
I'm very pleased with these tyres. I really wanted to change from run flats because of the rough roads we have! These new tyres have greatly improved the driving experience. The rides are much smoother, and the performance is unaffected. Changing them was a good idea.
