The Michelin Pilot Super Sport is a summer tyre that excels at high performance. The tyre shape is maintained at high speed by the use of a Twaron belt beneath the tread, which resists expansion at higher speeds. The outer dry cornering rubber of the Bi-Compound is a carbon black rich rubber. The inner rubber is a silica rich compound, and water is drained from the tread by rear to front grooves in the inner rubber section.

Some original equipment versions have the sidewall markings N0, Porsche’s approval, or the BMW star marking. This means that the tyre was made to the specifications of the respective car maker, and so the original marking should be maintained. The Pilot Sport 4 S, a newer model in the range of tyres, was made to be a road focused tyre. At Tyres.co.uk, you can find the Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

Extra grip is much appreciated! These tyres complement the M3 really well and handle the power without shredding. On long trips they are a bit noisier than other tyres and road noise may also be due to the firm suspension. Overall I would recommend these tyres for sure.
