The Michelin Pilot Super Sport is a summer tyre that excels at high performance. The tyre shape is maintained at high speed by the use of a Twaron belt beneath the tread, which resists expansion at higher speeds. The outer dry cornering rubber of the Bi-Compound is a carbon black rich rubber. The inner rubber is a silica rich compound, and water is drained from the tread by rear to front grooves in the inner rubber section.

Some original equipment versions have the sidewall markings N0, Porsche’s approval, or the BMW star marking. This means that the tyre was made to the specifications of the respective car maker, and so the original marking should be maintained. The Pilot Sport 4 S, a newer model in the range of tyres, was made to be a road focused tyre. At Tyres.co.uk, you can find the Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

Tyre review for Michelin Pilot Super Sport 275/30R21 98Y XL
When performing in dry and perhaps warmed conditions, this tyre excels in brilliant operation and is therefore ideal for more powerful vehicles. However, When in colder and wet conditions and when encountered when there is grit present, this tyre loses traction and operational performance suffers. Summer tyres are also known for wearing out quickly due to the soft rubber compounds used in their construction.
