Michelin Pilot Super Sport is an ultra-high-performance summer tyre built for powerful saloons, coupes and sports cars driven enthusiastically on UK roads. It’s designed to deliver confident handling in warm conditions, from fast A-roads to motorway cruising, while remaining suitable for everyday use. As with all summer tyres, it isn’t intended for winter temperatures, snow or ice.

The Pilot Super Sport uses an asymmetric tread pattern that keeps a broad, stable contact patch under acceleration, braking and quick direction changes. A reinforced construction helps the tyre hold its shape at speed, improving steering precision and stability through long bends. On wet roads, wide circumferential grooves and carefully placed channels help move water away from the footprint to reduce the risk of aquaplaning, while the inner side of the tread is tuned to maintain predictable grip.

This model has also been widely recognised in independent tests and by performance-car manufacturers for its dry handling and consistent performance under demanding driving.
