The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S DT1 is a summer tyre specifically designed for always working at peak performance. It responds to user input rapidly, like an extension of the driver's arm. Both of these characteristics have been achieved using an asymmetric tread pattern and inner and outer rubber zone differentiation. Using Bi-Compound Technology, Michelin has rubberised the outer edge and introduced a hybrid of functional elastomers and silica for the wet zone. Below this, Michelin has introduced its Dynamic Response Technology. Here, they have used a hybrid aramid and nylon belt to support the outer casing.
The sidewall of the tyre has the DT1 code. This will help to identify which tyre to use when replacing the other tyres with the same code. This information will be on the tyre along with the size, loading index and speed rating, which should all match to the vehicle manufacturers recommendations. At Tyres.co.uk, you will find stock of the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S DT1.
