The Michelin CrossClimate 3 Sport is an all-season tyre designed to provide an authentic sportscar feel of direct steering throughout the seasons, and it’s also certified for driving in severe winter conditions with 3PMSF. The tyre features a directional V-shaped tread that is designed with channels that widen towards the outer edge and facilitate the removal of water from the tread pattern. Dynamic Response Technology uses a hybrid aramid and nylon belt to provide the tyre with shape under the forces of changing steering.

The CrossClimate 3 Sport is equipped with the Thermal Adaptive Tread Compound 2.0 which allows the tyre to perform in the varying temperature conditions that an all-season tyre may encounter. The sidewall of the tyre features the 3PMSF marking which indicates that the tyre has met the required standards for driving on snow. I just finished a journey of 3000 miles across France, Switzerland and Italy. These tyres also performed great in the wet and snowy conditions too. I feel safe driving fast with them.

I'm really happy with the tyres, even though it's still early days. I read a lot of reviews, and did a lot of research, and I chose these tyres, and I'm glad I did. They provide great road feel, and great response, and also improve road handling and cornering. My 2005 BMW X5, which previously had Accelera tyres, has totally changed with these tyres. The grip is excellent, both road and wet conditions, and the ride comfort is also really good. I wonder how they will be in snowy conditions. They do make a bit of noise at a slower speed, but it is nothing too annoying. I also haven't observed any changes in fuel consumption.

The comparison may not be entirely fair because although the new tyres do perform better, the old tyres were nearly completely worn out.
