Maxxis NHS means that it is not highway service and stands for not for highway service. The designation will appear on the tyre sidewall together with the pattern name. It signifies construction, compound and tread design; the NHS means all tyres regardless of their construction.
When it comes to replacing your tyre, you need to match the full tyre description in order to use the tyre for the same purpose and with the same construction. The other markings (load, speed, approval) will also be from your tyre and not NHS designation. The Maxxis NHS tyres are available at Tyres.co.uk.

The price shown for mail-order tyres covers the tyre only (including VAT). Once you’ve selected your tyres and proceed to the basket, a delivery fee will be added to your order.
