The Marshal HP91 is a high-performance summer tyre designed for SUVs and 4x4s. The HP91 is focused on performance at speed on wet roads using a 4-groove asymmetric tread and a high-dispersion silica compound. The 4 grooves run front to back, directing water beneath the tread. The outer edge of the tread is strengthened with larger blocks to maintain the shape of the tread during cornering. The silica compound is designed to optimise grip on wet roads and to offer low rolling resistance of the tyre.
The centre of the tread pattern is designed to be more continuous, offering a steadier cross section of the tread for straight-line running. The casing is designed to support the additional load of a 4x4 and its higher centre of gravity, aiding the tread to support appropriate weight when the vehicle is fully loaded.
