The Linglong Crosswind M/T is a mud-terrain tyre primarily designed for use in mud, ruts, and loose terrain. The open tread design allows for this tyre to be used for off-road driving in the warmer months. The design features bite blocks that dig into the aforementioned terrains as the tyre rotates. The tread also features wide spacing that allows for slip to be cleared from the tread pattern. Slip is also cleared by the tread design, which aids on uneven surfaces.

The tyre's casing is stronger, giving better resistance to the scrapes and knocks from off-road driving. The sidewalls also feature a design to resist cuts and punctures when driving on rough rocky terrain. The sidewalls also provide traction on loose gravel.
