Rolling resistance has a direct impact on fuel consumption. A tyre's rolling resistance score ranges from A to E.
A tyre's wet grip capacity is expressed in Grades from A to E. The difference in braking distances between each grade is roughly 3m - an average car length.
The exterior noise grade of a tyre is expressed in decibels and accompanied by an external rolling noise rating - ranging from A (least exterior noise) to C (highest level of noise).
These tyres have been specifically designed for fitment and use on cars.
These tyres are designed with a stronger sidewall, making them capable of handling more weight than your average tyre. Typically, they are classified by the letters 'XL' on the sidewall.
designed to cope with various weather conditions and deliver a reliable performance throughout the different seasons.
The Lanvigator Catchfors A/S tyre was designed to tackle the UK's variable weather patterns. It works especially well in the rain, but the design helps with usage all year. Grooves are built into the tread to wick water from the tyre to the ground, which lessens the chances of aquaplaning and aids in stopping the car on wet roads. Aided by a stiff tread centre, these grooves also help with tyre stability and maintaining direction control. Blocks of tread with bite edges on the outer tread also help the tyre grip on wet, chilly, and damp roads.
When the temperature dips, the slits help grip as well. The tread block design helps lessen noise on the road while also helping control the pressure as the tread wears. You'll find the tyre at Tyres.co.uk.
