The Kustone Active V02 is an economical tyre that is designed to remove moisture from the tread as efficiently as possible. The design employs grooves from end to end, with channel cuts that are angled in the direction of the wheel that remove any moisture from the contact area. The blocks interspersed with fine cuts increase the edges of the block for braking and cornering on wet roads. The blocks on the outer edge are designed to help the tyre during the early stages of developing the steering load. A balanced block design is used to promote even wear.
In the design of the drainage system, the aim is to reduce the occurrence of aquaplaning when driving over standing water. A road trip pattern is developed to reduce road noise on longer trips.
