The Kumho PS72 S is a summer performance tyre featuring a compound that uses resin to enhance grip during both dry and wet conditions. Asymmetric balancing of the compound includes a firmer tread on the outside edge and smaller, slit blocks on the inner edge. In addition, PS72 S incorporates rear to front grooves and open channels to transport water through the tread pattern. The casing of the tyre has been developed to evenly distribute the vehicle load over the tyre tread.

The PS72 is a replacement for the PS71 in the performance tyre category. The PS72 S has also been designed with the intention to absorb pattern resonance. As a dedicated summer tyre, it has been designed to perform in temperatures above 7 degrees. At Tyres.co.uk we supply the Kumho PS72 S.

My Kumho tyres have been excellent on my Mercedes. They are quiet, provide a feeling of security, and are very comfortable. I have not tried them in really bad weather, but they did well when it was raining. Even when I sold my car the new owner commented on how good the tyres were. I've now moved on to a completely different vehicle, a BMW i3. I would be happy to get Kumho tyres again assuming they fit those narrow 19" wheels.
