Product description & features

Kumho’s Ecsta Sport S (PS72) features an asymmetric design. The outer side has a solid block layout to help cornering and an inner side with more dispersion to help with water clearing. Blocking patterns on the outer side are closely aligned to provide stability in the tread pattern. The inner side helps water clear with vertical, angled, and transverse grooves.

The Ecsta Sport S replaces Kumho’s Ecsta PS91 in their ultra-high-performance summer tyre lineup. Ecsta Sport S’s tread design has solid block layouts to outer side, and has water clearing channels on the inner side. We sell Kumho Ecsta Sport S (PS72) at Tyres.co.uk.

Highlights

  • Asymmetric tread design

Tyre review for Kumho Ecsta Sport S (PS72) 265/30R19 93Y XL
I replaced the factory Michelins on my car with slightly wider tyres to improve rim protection. My Tesla has Continentals on the front wheels. As far as grip, noise, and efficiency, I do not see much difference from the original Michelins or Continentals. Maybe a little more noise, but not by much. So far, I have about 3000 miles on them from the road trip I took to Spain, and they seem to be doing well. They feel slightly harder than the Continentals which seem to get a lot of punctures from nails and screws. The rim protection is not as good as the Continentals, and I prefer the looks of the Continentals better, but considering the price, I would buy Kumhos again.
