Kumho Ecowing ES31 summer tyre has low rolling resistance to enhance the fuel efficiency. The wet grip of the tyre is provided by the Kumho High Dispersible Micro Silica compound. The tyres have 4 longitudinal grooves that provide drainage of water from the treads. The outer edge blocks of the treads are reinforced to enhance cornering performance.
It has fine slits that help to create braking edges on wet roads. Further, water is drawn into the tyre by channels created. The Ecowing ES31 tyre replaces the Ecowing ES01 KH27 tyre in the low rolling resistance tyres’ category, and is meant for ambient temperatures above 7 degrees Celsius.
