The Kpatos FM601 uses interlocking tread blocks to enhance the drainage of wet roads and decrease rolling resistance when constructing passenger car tyres. The grooves between the blocks get rid of the water away from the block which is in contact with the road. Additionally, the finer slits that are built across the tread sustain braking stability on dry surfaces. The Kpatos FM601 is ideal for regular use in the city and on the motorway due to its strong sidewalls and durable rubber compound.
The design of the tread also has an effect of decreasing rolling resistance and thus improving fuel efficiency. The Kpatos FM601 is designed to minimise the road noise which is introduced to the car cabin. Tyres.co.uk is an authorised dealer of the Kpatos FM601.
