The Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 EV (K127E) uses the Porsche Taycan as a basis to create a summer tyre that focuses on ultra-high performance. It features an electric sports car’s instantaneous torque and axle loads, as well as a 2-ply design and high-strength fibres. The aramid belt hybrid reinforcement improves the shape of the tyre under pressure of high weight and keeps the shape of the tyre. The Hankook Sound Absorber, a sound-absorbing foam, is said to reduce noise by 5 decibels.

Some designs of the tyre have “NF0” on the sidewall, an indication by Porsche that these were made to their specifications. The 19 inch Taycan variants come in 225/55 R19 103V XL and 275/45 R19 108V XL. The Tyres.co.uk store carries the Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 EV (K127E).

Having bought these expensive tyres, I was disappointed that I already had to deal with a puncture so soon after purchase. I haven't had to deal with any more punctures since, though. The dry summer and mild winter didn't really put them to the test.

Provides good traction on all types of surfaces and effectively copes with bumpy roads. It is suitable for light snow but does not perform reliably during severe winter conditions. Offers short stopping distance and great cornering stability. Steering responsiveness is great with excellent feedback from the road. Offers a better ride with low noise and minimal vibrations. Noise even at high speed is low. The tread wears evenly and lasts a long time. Overall, a good tyre if maintained properly. Due to low rolling resistance, tyre longevity improves, giving a steady fuel saving over time.

Since I do not have as much experience with these as I do with the Bridgestones, I find it difficult to make an exact comparison. These do not appear to have as much sustainability as the Bridgestone tyres. It seems like I am getting less miles per electric unit.

I can certainly hear less road noise than the Ventus T0s I used previously. Also, the miles I'm getting on these are noticeably higher. They were quite pricey though, and I'm still on the fence about the advantages justifying the extra cost.

I have used Hankook tyres on my Audi A4 for a number of years, partly due to the positive reviews on the side of the tyre. Although I have been unhappy with their durability, as I have heard better things about competitor brands. These tyres replaced the original tyres on my car and I have not noticed a big difference. They do make me nervous in the wet, particularly when cornering. I am not sure if I will continue with Hankook or try a different brand.

I'm not sure how to compare the Model Y's tyres to others, but these are definitely good tyres for winter weather. I have not tested them in summer weather. They are also somewhat noisy, and very noisy on roads that are not perfectly smooth.
